The club offers not only Companion Dog training but also an opportunity to do Good Citizens Dog Scheme training and tests for different levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) which are organised at different times during the year, usually April and October. All family members are welcome to participate in the training.

In 2012 for the first time the Club held Obedience, Heelwork to music and agility workshops. These were a great success and in 2014 we will be running further workshops to help you explore new areas of interest, so check the club calendar. In Spring to Autumn 2014 we will also be running an Agility Foundation course as well as usual training for starters/novice handlers.

The Club supports a charity selected by members. This is currently The Greyhound Rescue Charitable Trust.

Various events are run throughout the year to support the club charity and dog and handler progress. For example, sponsored stays and dog walk as well as the Easter and Christmas raffles.

Hilights of the yearly calendar include the Good Citizens tests; Club competition; Christmas Party; and presentation of Trophies.
