PUPPY TRAINING
Hello and Welcome to my specially dedicated page to Puppies and their new owners. This page will give you all the information on suitable training classes for puppies with available dates and venues offered by Caterham Chipstead and Coulsdon Dog Training Club.
Puppies can start classes as soon as their vaccinations are completed, usually 10 weeks of age. Vets will usually advise not to take them out for 1 week after this. However whilst, puppies should not go for walks in the park and socialise with unknown dogs until their vaccinations are complete there is no reason why they cannot attend a puppy socialisation class in an indoor venue. The earlier you start training your puppy the better and socialisation is the first part of their training to overcome insecurities and develop good manners. Sometimes it is also helpful to have someone visit and advise when you have just acquired a new puppy. I am happy to do a Home Starter visit and provide you with all the information you need to have confidence with teaching your new puppy.
'Please see class options below and review the Club calender or contact the trainer for information on dates.'

Puppy Home visits.
To help you settle your special friend into the home and start early training.Puppy Socialisation
Monday at Old Coulsdon.
These classes are suitable for puppies aged 8 - 20 weeks only. These classes are dependant upon demand and you will need to check what is available with myself (07713 711535)
This is a starter for the new owner of a very young puppy and also aimed at building confidence in the puppy. These sessions act as a feeder to the Puppy Foundation course (completion of vaccinations is not required but the first vaccination at 8 weeks should have been done.) Expectation is that puppy would be registered for the next suitable puppy foundation course.

Dates for these walks will be by arrangement so please review the club calendar and discuss with myself if interested. These are held monthly during the summer, please see current events on home page or contact the trainer for date of next walk.
